North Island College Fine Arts students are eagerly preparing for their grad exhibition opening May 7th at the Muir Gallery. It is an exciting time as they step out of the classrooms and into the community. After working closely for two years, the students have learned much from each other as well as their teachers. From refining visual choices, to understanding and viewing new perspectives on art, the grad class has put together a show of interesting range. This year's graduating students are Nancy Broad, Mary Deveau, Megan Goodachre, Alysia Hayers, Carol Hilland, Ian Horsfield, Vivian Lochridge, Taylor McConnell, Alison Tang and Darrrell Joan Tomkins.

The graduation exhibition is an exciting time for the students, giving them an opportunity to express their concepts to the community they all live in. Come and show support for our communities new and emerging artists at the opening reception hosted by the Muir Gallery, May 7th between 7:00 pm and 9:00pm.
