One of the benefits of CVCAC membership is rental of the Muir Gallery for arts and cultural activities outside of operational hours. We've had poetry readings, book launches, small concerts, workshops and meetings there and we need volunteers to open, set up, liaison with the renters, food and beverage service and closing up. We are also involved in a variety of community events: Local Colours Downtown Courtenay Festival and KidsFest are both in September and we would welcome volunteers with marketing and sales experience to work on the steering committee, design flair for promotional activities and people skills for the day(s) of the events.
